Imagine the forests of Germany. A forester’s house. His hunting dog, tirelessly accompanying him through sunshine, rain, snow and blizzards. And the forester’s son — a young boy who greets his father at the doorstep with a wet, shaggy dog. And its unmistakable smell.

Later in life, that boy — now our CEO, Sascha Hagemann — learned about microbiology and immediately thought of pet owners and everything this technology might help solve. He founded PetStandard on the belief that every problem has a solution — and solving it starts with understanding its root cause. Today, PetStandard tackles any organic stain and odor, anywhere: on your couch, in your car, on your favorite sneakers, or even in your rental apartment before the landlord shows up.
